Speed mentoring

Following the success of last year's edition, the GDR SI is organizing again a longer speed mentoring session.

At the end of the first day, mentors (academic and industrial) will be available to discuss with PhD students and post-doctoral researchers. Take advantage of these moments to talk about any topics you want concerning the academic life: career prospects, time management, how to present your work at a conference, how to mentor students, or simply discuss  your research topics.

The purpose of this session is to allow GDR members to meet as many people as possible, encouraging longer discussions later in the event. The exact format will be determined based on the number of participants, but interactions will be limited to 5 minutes with each mentor so that each student can meet several of them during this session.

The event is only accessible by registration (via the general registration form), a confirmation email will then be sent to you.
